13U ONC Invite

Tournament Structure

• Teams: 6 teams will compete in the tournament.
• Advancement: The top 4 teams will advance to the semifinals.
• Consolation Game: Teams finishing in 5th and 6th place will play in a consolation game.
• Distances: 50' / 75’

Bat Rules

Players in the 13U division may use:

• BBCOR-3 bats with a maximum barrel diameter of 2 3/4 inches.
• Bats with a 1.15 BPF rating.
• Length/weight drop of -5 or -8.
• All bats must have a branding, label, or stamp proving a BPF 1.15 rating

Mercy Rules

• A mercy rule will be enforced as follows:
• 15 runs after 3 innings
• 12 runs after 4 innings
• 10 runs after 5 innings

Game Timing

No inning may start after 2 hours of play.

Tie Breaker Scenarios

    1    Head-to-Head Record: Compare the win-loss record between the tied teams. 

    2    Run Differential: Calculate the total runs scored minus the total runs allowed in games between the tied teams.

If teams that are tied did not play head to head or more than two teams are tied:

    3    Overall Run Differential: Calculate the total runs scored minus the total runs allowed for all tournament games.

    4    Total Runs Scored: Compare the total runs scored by each tied team throughout the tournament.

    5    Coin Toss: If all else fails, a coin toss will determine the higher seed.
