2025-2026
ONC Development Program
A year-round training program for 14U and 16U players, focused on skill refinement, development planning, competitive opportunities, and progression to ONC Elite.

ONC Development Program
Overview
ONC Development is a year-round program designed for 14U and 16U players who need additional training and game experience to consistently perform at a high level. The program provides targeted development, with a focus on refining skills, building confidence, and preparing athletes for future opportunities—including potential call-ups to ONC Elite rosters. Players benefit from structured training, competitive reps, and a supportive environment designed to accelerate growth. Our staff works closely with athletes to identify areas for improvement and create personalized development plans. The program also includes a balanced game schedule and travel opportunities, including tournaments in the U.S and Canada. This provides players with valuable exposure and meaningful competition as they continue to grow within the ONC Baseball system.
Fall Season
The Fall Season kicks off in early September and runs through Thanksgiving. Players will train one to two times per week and compete in simulated games on weekends. Sessions are fast-paced, position-specific, and built to maximize reps and game-like development. Large groups are broken down into smaller pods based on position, allowing players to work with purpose and stay engaged throughout each session. The fall also serves as an evaluation window—our coaches assess strengths, weaknesses, and overall game awareness. This insight helps shape customized off-season plans to keep players progressing. Fall sessions are held primarily at our home field, Hamilton Yards, with a focus on development, execution, and preparing players for the next phase of training.
Off-Season Training
Our off-season training phase begins in January and runs for 17 weeks. Players train once weekly at Bell Sensplex and have access to specialized hitting and pitching sessions at ONC Labs. This portion of the program emphasizes quality over quantity—high-intensity workouts with deliberate planning to help athletes make real gains during the winter months. In addition to position-specific skill work, we offer optional strength and conditioning nights to support physical development and injury prevention. Each player receives a detailed training plan tailored to their needs, including key focus areas identified during the Fall Season. The off-season is where the biggest strides happen, laying the foundation for a strong competitive season ahead.
Tournaments
As part of the competitive calendar, ONC Development teams will participate in two tournaments across the U.S. and Canada during the spring and summer. These events offer the chance to compete against strong opposition from the northeast and midwest U.S., helping players gain valuable experience and confidence. Practices will continue twice weekly leading up to and between tournament events, ensuring consistent development and preparation. These tournaments not only challenge our players but also provide exposure to scouts and programs at the next level. Travel costs—including hotels, meals, and transportation—are the responsibility of each family. Following the final tournament, there will be a break before tryouts for the next year’s program begin in late August.
In-Depth Player Assessment
As part of the ONC Elite experience, all players will undergo a professional-grade Player Assessment using FieldPro AI, our custom-built performance tracking software. Assessments are conducted at ONC Labs, using cutting-edge technology like Trackman, Rapsodo, and HitTrax to capture detailed data on pitching and hitting mechanics.
Each player receives a personalized performance profile, including:
- Pitch velocity, spin rate, and movement metrics
- Hitting exit velocity, launch angle, and contact zone analysis
- Multi-angle video review
- Benchmark comparisons by age/level
- Key development areas and training priorities
This data-driven approach allows our coaching staff to create customized development plans and monitor progress throughout the year. Players also have the ability to control privacy settings and make their profiles public for college coaches and recruiters—giving them a professional, data-backed platform to showcase their skills and gain exposure.

Player Expectations
Balancing Sports & Commitments
We understand that many of our athletes participate in multiple sports, and we encourage them to be well-rounded competitors. We ask that players communicate with their coaches when conflicts arise and prioritize their ONC commitments during league play and tournament season. Like any elite program, the more time and effort invested, the greater the development and performance on the field.
Player Growth
Building Character & Leadership
Sports play a crucial role in shaping young athletes—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Whether our players continue their baseball journey at the collegiate or professional level or pursue other paths, ONC Development provides a high-level experience that prepares them for success in life.
Beyond competition, our program helps players develop resilience, sportsmanship, and leadership skills. They learn to handle victories with humility, face challenges with confidence, and contribute to their community through volunteer efforts.
Fees are paid in four instalments, an initial payment of $2,500 is required when an ONC roster spot is accepted. The balance of the team fees are paid in three instalments over the Fall, Winter and Spring.
