ONC Baseball Announces 2026-2027 Program Information and Tryout Schedule

Registration is now open for ONC Baseball’s 2026-2027 season.

ONC Baseball continues to offer one of the most comprehensive player development pathways in Eastern Ontario, providing opportunities for athletes from 10U through 18U to compete at the highest levels of amateur baseball while receiving year-round development from an experienced coaching and player development staff.

Players interested in joining the program are encouraged to register early for tryouts at oncbaseball.com/tryout.

Three Development Pathways

ONC Premier

ONC Premier teams compete in the Canadian Premier Baseball League (CPBL), widely recognized as Canada’s top amateur baseball league. Premier teams participate in CPBL league play, showcase events, and high-level tournaments throughout Canada and the United States.

ONC Prospects

The ONC Prospects program provides additional opportunities for players to compete within the CPBL structure while continuing to develop in a highly competitive environment. Teams participate in CPBL competition and tournaments across Canada and the United States throughout the spring and summer.

New for 2027, CPBL Prospects Division teams will be permitted to carry rosters of up to 16 players. Players competing in the Prospects Division remain eligible for call-ups to Premier teams and are eligible to participate in CPBL Prospects events and showcases.

ONC Junior

The ONC Junior program serves as the foundation of the organization, providing competitive baseball opportunities for younger athletes through the Eastern New York Travel Baseball League along with tournament play throughout Canada and the United States.

About the Canadian Premier Baseball League

Founded in 2015, the Canadian Premier Baseball League (CPBL) is home to many of the top amateur baseball programs and players across Ontario and Quebec.

The league provides a highly competitive environment, access to showcase opportunities, and a player development model designed to prepare athletes for collegiate and professional opportunities.

Since its inception, the CPBL has produced:

  • 7 Major League Baseball Players
  • Hundreds of collegiate student-athletes competing across Canada and the United States
