ONC Baseball Announces 2025–2026 Tryouts for All Programs

Tryout registration is now open for the 2025–2026 season across all ONC Baseball programs: ONC Elite, ONC Development and the ONC Junior Program. With a total of 15 teams from 10U to 18U, ONC Baseball continues to lead the way in high-performance youth baseball, providing players across Eastern Ontario and beyond with a professional-grade development pathway.

Players born between 2006 and 2016 are eligible to register and participate in tryouts, which will be held at Hamilton Yards and ONC Labs between July 22 and August 7. Online registration is required for all participants.

ONC Elite Program (13U–18U Canadians)

The ONC Elite Program continues to offer the highest level of amateur baseball competition in the region, with teams competing in the Canadian Premier Baseball League (CPBL), national showcase events, and U.S.-based tournaments. Players born 2006–2013 are eligible to try out for teams at the 13U through 18U levels.

Tryout Dates for Canadians (13U–18U):

All sessions run from 4:00–6:00 PM at Hamilton Yards, Ottawa, ON.

  • July 22–24
  • July 29–30
  • August 5–7

A $25 tryout fee applies to Elite tryout participants.

This program is designed for athletes looking to compete at the highest levels of youth baseball, with pathways to college recruitment and professional scouting visibility.


ONC Development Program (14U & 16U)

Launched to meet the growing demand for elite-level coaching with a development-first mindset, the ONC Development Program supports athletes looking to refine their game with top-tier training while still competing in tournaments across Canada and the U.S. This new program will field 14U and 16U teams for the 2025-2026 season.

The Development Program emphasizes growth, fundamentals, and high-volume reps under the guidance of experienced coaches and coordinators. Players will receive access to ONC Labs and a full-year training curriculum.

A $25 tryout fee applies to tryout participants.


ONC Junior Program (10U, 11U & 12U Canucks)

The ONC Junior Program continues for the 2025–2026 season with separate 10U, 11U, and 12U Canucks teams. Open to players born 2014–2016, this grassroots-level program is designed to build foundational skills while introducing athletes to travel baseball and competitive tournament play across Ontario, Quebec, and the U.S.

Tryout Dates for Junior Canucks:

Note: Players must attend one on-field session and one in-Lab session.

  • July 27 — 1:00–3:00 PM @ ONC Labs (Pitching Focus)
  • July 29 — 4:00–6:00 PM @ Hamilton Yards (Fielding/Hitting)
  • July 30 — 6:00–8:00 PM @ ONC Labs (Pitching Focus)
  • July 31 — 4:00–6:00 PM @ Hamilton Yards (Fielding/Hitting)


Professional Coaching Staff & Coordinators

The 2025–2026 season will be led by a dynamic and experienced group of coaches, including:

  • 10-12U: TBA

Additionally, a dedicated team of coordinators will support player development across the organization:
