It Takes a Village...
Submitted By Shail Palliwal on Tuesday, March 23, 2021

ONC recently hosted an information session for parents of currently rostered players, to hear from ONC alumni parents who now have student-athletes attending NCAA and CIS schools.

ONC alumni go on to play US college baseball in the NCAA, NJCAA and NAIA, and in Canada in the CIS.  The ONC program prepares our rostered players for whatever path the aspire to follow, including those who end their competitive playing careers with ONC.

Over thirty sets of parents participated as Matthew Adams (Angus Adams - NCAA Elmira College), Barb Foster & John Foster (Matt Foster - CIS Brock University), and Clark Adams (Ben Adams - NCAA St. John’s University) shared their experiences.
Navigating the various paths available for US college and Canadian university baseball can confusing, and our alumni parents provided valuable guidance.
Baseball was only half the story as academics was an equally important part of the decision-making process. The information session also helped set expectations and served as a reminder as their many paths to a successful outcome.
Thank you very much Matt, Barb, John and Clark.
