Schroeder has served on the Board of ONC since 2017 and was President of the Club until the Fall of 2020 and has reassumed the President role as of October 2023.

He was previously President of the Gloucester Minor Hockey Association.

Schroeder coached baseball for many years, with Carleton-Russell Little League and with the Canadians.

Drafted by the Houston Astros in 2010, Evan has played professionally for the past 12 years, including the 2022 season as a member of the Ottawa Titans of the MLB-affiliated Frontier League.

Over the last three-and-a-half years while playing professionally in the US, Canada and Taiwan, Grills has been working with ONC pitchers and players.

Evan reached Triple-A twice, with both the Houston Astros and Colorado Rockies organizations. Named to the Astros 2016 organizational all-star team, Grills was 36-32 with a 4.25 earned-run average over 608 innings pitched in the minors.

As Director of Baseball Programs, Evan oversees all on-field baseball activities, team, player and coach development and performance, baseball-related partnerships, and works with the Board on our continuous efforts to elevate the ONC program.
