Evan Grills pitched for the Ottawa Titans in their 2022 season home-opener. The Titan's ace was dealin' !
Evan is in his fourth year of helping ONC players with their development, doing this while he continued to play baseball professionally in the US, Canada and most recently in Taiwan.
On Tuesday May 24th, Grills was the starting pitcher for the Ottawa Titans of the MLB-affiliated Frontier League. In the Titan's home opener at RGCT Park in Ottawa, Evan delivered a stellar performance. Going eight innings over which he threw 108 pitches, he had 15 strikeouts, gave up zero runs on three hits, with two walks. Almost 2,500 fans were on hand to witness Grills' stellar performance.
Grills is taking on more and more responsibility for ONC's on-field baseball activities, helping guide the program, making improvements, and ensuring the Club delivers an elite experience to its players and parents.
In addition to ensuring the quality of our baseball program, Evan works directly with ONC pitchers throughout the program year, and coordinates the Club's efforts to help players gain US college placements.
