ONC's FIRST EVER SPRING TRAINING TRIP
All four ONC teams were in Boca Raton, FL last week for the Club's first ever Spring Training trip. Practices, exhibition games, team bonding and some sunshine were all on the agenda for the week.
Last week saw the entire Club descend on Boca Raton, FL for a week of spring training.
Our players have been training indoors since early December and it was nice for all to be outside on real grass, practicing and playing games against local teams.
Overall our teams came away with a winning record in Florida. Our 18U team faced tough competition against local college squads, giving them a sense of the level of baseball that lies ahead, while also coming away with a winning record for the week.
Countless hours of development and preparation went into making the week a tremendous success. Many parents stepped up to help with various logistics, ensuring the players had a great experience. The Club is extremely grateful to all.
This was a great week for the Club and the first step in establishing a new annual tradition for ONC.
